Statman Report – Yesterday saw our 8th win of the season away at Beaconsfield 12-14. Last year we played Beaconsfield twice wining 7-5 at home in Dec but losing 31-24 away in Apr. With that in mind and considering the reduced squad we fielded, yesterday was a terrific performance. Alex scored his 10th try of the season and his two conversions takes him to 15. Milo scored a classic Milo try, his first score since the opening match of the season. Toby received MOTM so he and Digby are now head-to-head with 2 each. There were no yellow cards.
Next week we play Banbury RUFC. Statman has no record or recollection of us having played them before. He has looked at the website but their most recent results are from 2022 so nothing to be learnt there. It’s a journey into the unknown! #COYAS
