Today, 1st September, marks the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Club at a meeting held at the Bull’s Head Hotel, Market Square Aylesbury in 1931.
A notice was placed in the bucks Herald to advertise the meeting to discuss the formation of Aylesbury Rugby Club by Percy Black.
The Club owes its existence to a group of dedicated individuals: Dr. Norman Black, Colonel Oscar Viney, Stanley Baggett, and Percy Black. Their combined efforts laid the foundation for a club steeped in community spirit and a passion for the game of rugby.
